SialEXO® Smart Enzymes

The SialEXO family are sialidase products for the removal and analysis of sialic acids. The enzymes are active on N- or O-linked glycans present on native glycoproteins or released glycan structures.

Product Description

 The SialEXO family are sialidase products for the removal and analysis of sialic acids on native glycoproteins or on released glycans. The sialidases have unique activities and they work fast with no need for co-factors. They are active on both N- and O-linked glycans.

 

SialEXO is available in three different product formats:

 

SialEXO – sialidase mix for complete removal of sialic acids (α2-3, α2-6 & α2-8)

 

SialEXO 23 – an α2-3 specific sialidase

 

Immobilized SialEXO – immobilized SialEXO on agarose beads

Key Characteristics:

Hydrolyzes sialic acids on N- and O-linked glycans
